Comments : I first was introduced to the Greeves brand in 71, by my uncle who allowed me to race it (GO FAST) I was riding a real dirt bike a 250.  Who cared what it looked like and how old it was, it held its own to boot. I was hooked that was the TFS that I now own.

Greeves Model(s): I own a nice original Scottish TA of 1958. Accessing the front chainguard fitting nut nearly made me lose my interest! Ring a bell anyone?
Comments : In England there are fewer and fewer places we can ride our bikes apart from organized trials.  Even our mining slagheaps have been landscaped.  Wish we had deserts!  The website is great and makes me realize why we should have a really well illustrated book.

Comments : This Greeves was purchased by my broher-in-law and ridden 3 years in desert and TTs. I now have rescued it from him and will restore.   I raced Greeves in TTs around the mid 60s. All were 250cc Challengers. In So Cal I ran Prado Park, Perris and etc. Then I moved to Dist. 7 in the Washington D.C. area and ran mostly TTs.

Greeves Model(s): Cannot remember what it was except that it had a v. high copmpression 250 cc Villiers engine, and it was silver in colour, and had been used in serious competiton by its previous owner. It had a curious bar on top of the front wheel.
Comments : I bought it because of my name being much the same and I liked the functional look of the machine and used to horrify the senior partner of the offices where I worked parking it next to his limo off Bond Street. I Belted it round fields at home at weekends.  Regret I ever sold it
